Reading on China

The empire of China back in the medieval days was equally as great as the Roman empire. It wasn't quite as out going as the Spanish empire over America and Philippines and it's people less numerous than Britain, when you compare the subject years to the rest of the empires around the world it surpasses them all.

In a large part of the 3rd century the China was a split country with many barbarian dynasties fighting for control of the northern part of China. The Han Chinese in the lower part kept its economy up and running as the battles wore on in the higher parts of China. In 589 China united until 1126 when it was split by the Jin dynasty in the north and the Chinese dynasty of the Southern Song had the south. In 1234 the Mongols took control of north China then later on took south China reuniting China once agian but under Mongal rule. It is said that inner China is still under Mongal rule to this day.
